The members of our Auxiliary make blankets for the Children’s Assessment Center. The Auxiliary purchases the material with donated funds. Our members cut and tie the fabric into finished blankets. We donate over 100 blankets to the children of our community each year.
benevolence
Benevolence is a kind act or gift or the doing of kind things for others. The West End Auxiliary has adopted a monthly benevolence project. Children’s Fund requests needed items and we collect them at our monthly meetings. We deliver them to Children’s Fund. Items are then distributed to those in need. It can be as simple as toothpaste and a toothbrush or as specific as newborn diapers or juice and crackers for the Assessment Center. We invite you to be part of our gifts of kindness. Check out the monthly needs and places for delivery on the website each month.
